Account Owner
The account owner is the registered owner of a ProClient application subscription. The account owner has total access to all the features of their ProClient account. They can add or remove user accounts, manage user permissions, and modify all account settings.
Appointment
An appointment is any scheduled interaction involving a team member and a client that has an entry on ProClient Calendar. It can refer to either an in-person meeting or a phone call.
Appointment Type
Appointment Type is used to manage appointments by categorizing them into different types. Each appointment type has a different set of standard presets. For example, an appointment type may have a standard location, duration, and notification style. You can create and manage multiple appointment types.
Client Portal
ProClient’s client portal provides a safe and secure way for clients to view and manage their documents and information. The client is sent an email with their personal login credentials, which they can use to access their individual client portal. The client can use the portal to upload documents to secure cloud storage. An authorized user will then be able to view and manage the documents uploaded by the client. The client portal provides a convenient and secure way for clients to send files and schedule appointments.
CRM
CRM is short for “customer relationship management.” ProClient provides a CRM manager that you can use to store detailed information about your clients. You can easily look up the information by viewing a client profile entry in ProClient CRM. This can prove helpful in developing rapport with a client through your interactions with them.
Dashboard
The Dashboard is the quick-access interface that greets you upon entering your registered account in ProClient. It allows you to speedily access central ProClient features such as Calendar, CRM, Documents For Review, My Profile, Users, and Default Settings.
Document Center
The Document Center provides cloud-based storage for files uploaded by users and/or clients. All files are stored safely and securely by ProClient on the cloud. The files can only be accessed by a user or client with the right permissions.
Documents For Review
The Documents For Review section provides a tabled list of uploaded documents that have not yet been reviewed by an authorized user.

ProClient provides an in-page user guide. The user guide is available on every page of the ProClient application. The guide provides a step-by-step guide to the features available on the current page.
Notifications
Notifications are message alerts that are sent to users and/or clients. They can be toggled on or off. They can also be personalized. Examples of notifications include: Calendar Event Invitations, Text Reminders, Email Reminders
Permissions
An account owner can activate or deactivate a user account’s access to individual functions within ProClient. Permission refers to a user having access to a particular function. Permissions include View, Add, Update, Delete, and Manage.
Roles
A role is defined by a set of permissions to employ various features within ProClient. You can use roles to quickly assign a set of permissions to a team member without having to configure every permission individually. Examples of roles include: Manager, Tax Preparer, Receptionist
Support
ProClient has a support team to handle support requests from users of our software. The quickest way to contact the support team is by clicking on the “Feedback” tab that is available on every page. A pop-up selection will open.
Tags
A tag is an identifying code that uses a word or short phrase. You can use tags to organize and filter documents and client profiles. Tags can be further divided into categories for better organization.
Team Member
A team member is an employee or contractor with an individual ProClient user account. A team member can also be referred to as a user. Users are paid users in the account.
User Account
A user account enjoys limited permissions to access files and features within the ProClient system. These permissions can be configured by the account owner.
Usersnap
Usersnap provides easily accessible feedback and reporting system. You can access it by clicking on the Help from the left menu. You can use this system to send bug reports and feedback requests to the ProClient development team. You can also use it to submit tickets to ProClient support. Usersnap provides the ability to easily capture screenshots of a page with your comments and markings. These screenshots will be submitted along with your feedback message. (This is not our program, just a program we are using to get feedback.)
